Patient-Centered Healthcare

Our healthcare system is broken and profoundly wasteful. Sometimes it seems that each sector of the healthcare industry is out to serve itself at the expense of the patient, but also often at the expense of the providers and caregivers.

How do we fix a system that uses up 18% of our gross nation product, kills over 40,000 people a year due to human error, and leaves 40 million people uninsured? One in which primary care physicians are poorly compensated for their efforts to coordinate care, while specialists are richly compensated for procedures that are often unnecessary?

DramaWorks has a long history of working with hospitals, outpatient practices, and conferences on safety. All of our work is designed to show a healthcare experience "through the patient's eyes," which is the only way to detect quality issues.

Patient-centered healthcare is easy to stand for and hard to do well. Let’s talk about ways we can work together to shine a light on the invisible dynamics that get in the way and create a more optimal story of the way it can be.
